Privacy, in plain English

This is a small family recipe website. It does not have accounts, it does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not ask you for any personal details.

The Lab assistant

When you use the Lab assistant, your browser keeps one random identifier in its local storage. It is not linked to your name, email address or device. The identifier is also recorded on our side, next to a running count of how much of the assistant you have used, so that no one person can use up more than their fair share.

What you type to the assistant is sent to an AI service to produce an answer, and is checked by safety filters. We do not store or log your messages, and chats disappear when you close or reload the page.

What we do not do

• No cookies of our own, and no third-party analytics or advertising.
• No email addresses, names or locations collected.
• No selling or sharing of data.

Clearing it

Clearing your browser's site data for this website removes the identifier. The assistant will then treat you as a new visitor.
